Why Should You Attend This CPD Course?

With over 557,000 Revenue Interventions during 2011 and a dramatic increase in prosecutions for tax-based offences it has become clear that Revenue is stepping up their monitoring and inspection activities. This poses a significant challenge for Irish Businesses many of which are facing into difficult trading conditions. As Professional Advisors, Accountants and Tax Advisors are the first port of call for business owners when contentious communications are received from Revenue. Make sure that when that phone call comes in you are armed with the most up-to-date best practices & knowledge to ensure the most beneficial outcome.

This course provides a practical review of the Revenue Audit Code of Practice and highlights the current trends and approaches being adopted by Revenue. Examples will be drawn from recent and live cases and will highlight the correct steps to take at each step of the Audit.

Brendan will examine how to achieve best outcome during a Revenue Audit and how to avoid the pitfalls that can arise.
